What does my appointment consist of?
At Rut Hormone Clinic, we’ve designed a seamless and personalized process to ensure you get the best care tailored to your needs.
- Scheduling Your Appointment – You can call us or book online, whichever is most convenient for you. Once scheduled, you'll receive intake forms via email to complete before your visit. These forms help our nurse practitioner understand your concerns, medical history, and wellness goals.
- In-Person Consultation – During your one-on-one consultation, our nurse practitioner will discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, and health objectives. This step allows us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs and determine the next steps in your personalized care plan.
- Laboratory Testing – Based on your consultation, we will order laboratory tests to assess hormone levels, metabolic health, and other key biomarkers relevant to your concerns. Results typically take 7-10 days, depending on the specific tests performed.
- Results Review & Personalized Plan – Once your lab results are ready, we’ll schedule a follow-up either by phone or in person—whichever you prefer. Our nurse practitioner will explain your results in detail and work collaboratively with you to create a customized treatment plan that aligns with your health goals.
Do you accept insurance?
We don't use insurance for payment. We accept cash, checks, all card types, and HSA payments.
How is pricing determined?
Our goal is to make self-care and wellness affordable to our community. This can be managed through monthly payment, 3-month payment, 6-month, or 1-year subscriptions. With 1-year subscriptions 15% discount and 6 months 10% discount is applied to the cost. Monthly rates range between $100-300 dollars and increase with more services applied. These monthly costs consist of your medication, supplies, discounted supplementation pricing, and follow-up appointments.
Where do I get labs completed at?
At Rut Hormone Clinic, we offer flexible and cost-effective options for your laboratory testing, ensuring accessibility for all patients.
- Choose Your Preferred Lab – During your consultation, you and your nurse practitioner will discuss where you’d like to complete your laboratory evaluation. We offer multiple options to accommodate your needs.
- Insurance-Based Lab Testing – Our clinic is partnered with Sanford Health, allowing you to use your health insurance to cover lab costs. If you choose this option, we will send your lab order directly to Sanford Health, making the process smooth and hassle-free. It is your responsibility to be aware of your insurance coverage, policy provisions, exclusions, limitations and authorization requirements. Many insurance companies will not pay for tests that they feel are "not medically necessary," even if your provider feels they are; each insurance company has its own definition of "medically necessary".
- Affordable Cash-Pricing Options – If you don’t have insurance or prefer a self-pay option, our nurse practitioner has access to exclusive cash-based pricing through Access Labs, as well as an online lab service portal. This ensures that you receive high-quality testing at a fraction of the cost of traditional lab fees. We do not provide the collection of labs in house.
